Prairie Tune Up 2025

The ACFO-ACAF Regional Tune Up series is returning to Winnipeg on September 18! As always, this event is free for ACFO-ACAF members as part of the Joint Career Development Program, co-governed by ACFO-ACAF and the Office of the Comptroller General.

All attendees of the event will receive a certificate for 5.5 CPD hours

9:00 – Leadership and collaboration workshop (Linda Drosdowech, business coach, speaker and trainer)

12:00 – Lunch and updates from ACFO-ACAF (Rob Hawkins, ACFO-ACAF President)

13:00 – Community development updates from the Office of the Comptroller General (Eric Brière)

13:45 – Armchair conversation on workplace issues (Teddy El-Sayah and Kevin Marchand, ACFO-ACAF Labour Relations Advisors)

14:45 – Break

15:15 – Panel: Reflections from Senior Leadership (Annie Boudreau, Comptroller General of Canada; Alain Legacé, Chief Financial Officer, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada; and Philippe Thompson, Chief Financial Officer, Indigenous Services Canada)

16:15 – Closing remarks

Note: ACFO-ACAF will be hosting a social mixer immediately after the event at The Elephant and Castle, located at 350 St. Mary Avenue.


Travel support

As this is a regional event, members who reside in the Prairie Region but live more than 100 km from the site of the event are eligible for partial travel support in the form of one night’s accommodation, capped at the government rate as per the NJC travel directive. Please contact events@acfo-acaf.com for pre-approval prior to booking your room. This travel support is only available once per member per year.
