Spring Tune Up 2025: Turning Points

Spring Tune Up is returning to Ottawa’s Rogers Centre and streaming online on May 27! This year’s free event is all about navigating the turning points we confront in our lives and in our work. We hope to see you there! All plenary sessions (4.0 CPD hours) will be held in the Rogers Centre’s Canada Hall 1 as well as being streamed online for remote attendees!

Rachel Baptiste is an executive leadership coach and organizational culture strategist. She’ll be talking about the vital role of psychological safety in creating resilient and adaptable teams during times of upheaval and transition.

Rudyard Griffiths

Munk Debates moderator

Rudyard Griffiths is a senior fellow at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and the co-founder, chair, and moderator of the Munk Debates, Canada’s premier international debate series. He’ll be talking about the changing global order and how Canada must respond to our new uncertain future.

Linda Valade

Communications expert

Linda Valade is an expert in interpersonal dynamics, communication, and body language. She’ll talk about the way we communicate more than we realize without using our words, and how to harness your non-verbal communication skills to build and maintain trusting relationships.

Dr. Ashleigh Weeden

Researcher

Dr. Ashleigh Weeden is a researcher specializing in public service reform and place-based government. She’ll be talking about place, policy, and the power of the public service in the era of overlapping crises, with a particular focus in the importance of regional perspectives.

More than just a conference


  1. CT Community Showcase Stage (up to 1.5 CPD hours)
    We are also excited to bring back the new CT Community Showcase Stage, where members of the CT Community will share their own stories and career advice on a special stage in the Parliament Foyer of the Rogers Centre. These quick-fire sessions will take place during meal breaks and are an optional addition to the day for our in-person attendees. Please note that interpretation will not be available for these sessions; the language of the presentations will be noted on the agenda. These sessions will also not be streamed online. In-person attendees will be able to claim up to 1.5 unverifiable CPD hours as attendance will not be monitored.
  2. Exhibit Hall
    This year’s event will also include an exhibit hall, where departments will be showcasing innovative work and talking about the great things being done by their finance and audit teams! Want to reserve a booth for your department? Register here!
